Classroom News

All of the Broadview Students will attend the Motlow Play on Thursday, November 29th. Due to limited seating at Motlow, parents will not be able to attend the Motlow Play with us. Students can either bring a lunch from home that day or get a sack lunch from the cafeteria. We will eat lunch in our classroom when we return from the Motlow Play.

Permission Slips for the Motlow Play are in your child’s Eagles Folder today. The entire permission slip must be completed and signed at the bottom, in order for your child to attend the field trip. Please complete and return them to school as soon as possible. Also, please mark whether your child will bring lunch or order a sack lunch from the cafeteria.

Heads up to all kindergarten students and families. During the month of December, we will open the Jingle Bell Club! Students gain membership into this fun club when they are able to appropriately tie their own shoe laces. You may want to begin working on this skill at home now because the month of December is a short school month. Students who become members earn themselves a jingle bell necklace to wear at school during the month of December. They also earn a brag tag. December 3rd will be the first day to join the club. Start practicing kiddos. J

Each morning, the students are excitedly adding their Book It stickers to their November Turkeys!! Thank you for your help at home! November Book It will be due Monday, Dec, 3.

We will be stuffing stockings in place of a gift exchange. The Kindergarten teachers will buy each child a stocking and hang it in the classroom. Each child will have an assigned day to bring something to put in everybody’s stocking. Students will get to bring their stockings home on the day of our Christmas Party. More details and dates will be coming home soon.
