Meet The Teacher

Welcome to Kindergarten!! My name is Colleen Lawrence. Thank you for allowing me the opportunity to work with your child this year. I am looking forward to getting to know you and your child better!

I am married to Dusty Lawrence and have two amazing stepdaughters, Kiauna and Karalee. Some of my favorite things to do are read, spend time with family, be outdoors, and travel. I have an identical twin sister who also teaches. I graduated from Texas Christian University with a Bachelor of Science in Education with Early Childhood certification and ESL certification.

Teaching Experience:  This year will be my 21st year.
Speer Elementary in Texas:  Kindergarten- 10 years
                                                  1st grade- 1 year
                                                  2nd grade- 1 year
Huntland School:  Kindergarten- 1 year
                                 4th grade- 1 year
Broadview Elementary:  Kindergarten- 6 years
