Meet the Librarian

Hello!  Welcome to Broadview Library!

I graduated from Middle Tennessee State University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education in 1998.   I received my Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction, with a Reading Specialist Certification from Tennessee State University and an Ed.S Degree and Administrative License in Instructional Leadership from Tennessee Tech University.  I have been teaching at Broadview since August 1998.  While at Broadview, I have taught 3rd grade, Kindergarten and I am presently the librarian.

My husband and I have lived in Franklin County all of our lives, except for our time away at college. We have 2 kids, Kaleb &  Kaleigh.  I enjoy hiking, traveling, reading and spending time with our family and friends.

Help add books to our library!

Adopt-a-Book!

Adopt-a-Book is a simple, meaningful way to recognize various events and help our library. Donor's may purchase new, library-bound books from our school library collection.  A special label will be placed in the book commemorating the event and the donor.  A letter will be sent to the person being recognized, if desired.  The adopted book will be placed in our library for our students to enjoy for many years to come!

Give a gift that can be opened again and again!
