I graduated from Tennessee Technological University with a Bachelor's of Science in Elementary Education and Middle Tennessee State University with a Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction. This will be my 17th year teaching for the Franklin County School District and 7th year at Broadview Elementary. I have taught 2nd, 4th, and 5th grades. I currently teach 5th grade ELA and Social Studies.
In my spare time, I love to read, go camping with my family, support the University of Tennessee Volunteers, and travel (especially to Walt Disney World and the beach). My husband, Tim, and I have a daughter, Emmalee, who is a recent graduate of Middle Tennessee State University. We also have three fur babies named Dixie, Jewels, and Luna.
